Bee-autiful Birthday!

One of my dearest friends, Jana Seely, sent me a birthday package clearly labeled "Do Not Open Until Jan. 17."

Waiting is not one of my strengths, but I managed.

I was rewarded with some adorable bee-themed presents!  First, a beeswax candle in the shape of a kitty.  Swoon.

I love that it was wrapped in "bee" paper for protection.  I also love her confidence in my plans to craft stuff with our beeswax someday!

Plus, a two-sided pendant for a necklace.  Perfect!  (And it reminds me of Meg Ryan in "You've Got Mail"!)

Jana is a giver of wonderful gifts.  We also wrote a book together, so I'm biased, but she's a brilliant writer and artist too.  Thanks, Jana, for making my birthday special!
